Spray foam doesn't have a meaningful expiration date. Once cured, it's a stable polymer that doesn't sag, settle, or lose R-value the way fiberglass and cellulose do.
Why It Lasts
Spray foam bonds chemically to the substrate, doesn't absorb water (closed cell), and isn't food for pests or mold.
What Can Shorten It
Direct UV exposure degrades foam — that's why exterior applications need a coating. Off-ratio mixing during install can leave foam that never fully cures. Always hire a contractor with manufacturer-trained applicators.
