What We Find
Sagging or fallen fiberglass batts. Wet vapor barriers. Mold on joists. Cold floors above. Ductwork sweating. These aren't rare problems here — they're the norm.
Why It Happens
Vented crawl spaces invite humid outside air in during summer. That air condenses on cold surfaces and saturates fiberglass. Wet fiberglass falls. The cycle repeats.
The Fix
Encapsulation with closed cell foam on the walls and rim, a vapor barrier on the floor, and a dehumidifier. Once you stop the moisture, the rest of the house gets healthier too.
